The military use of scopes on handheld firearms have gone much slower than the transition to scopes in the civilian world. This togheter with the previusly low interest for Sniping have made military scopes farily uncommon. More and more armies are now leaving the use of iron sights and go for optics instead and it will eventually likely be on every soldiers rifle. |
