Swedish Military Binoculars are in our opinion espsially interesting partly because it have been second in quality only to Germany and they also hade their own high quality manufacturing. During the second World war, no other country was allowed to buy such big amounts of high quality instruments from Germany as Sweden was. The reason for this was the Swedish Steel and ball bearings that the government traded for high quality optics. Our interest is as usual mainly untill 1945, but also more modern items is precsent in the collection. |
